전북필리핀인협의회 Jeonbuk Kabayan이 오는 24일 오후 3시 30분부터 5시 30분까지 제2회 “필리핀니즘(FILIPINISM)” 봉사데이를 진행한다.
전북지역 필리핀인 연대를 슬로건으로 지난 2025년 2월 15일 정식 등록 후 활동을 시작한 전북 필리핀 단체 ‘전북필리핀인협의회 Jeonbuk Kabayan’이 지난해에 이어 올해도 오는 24일 오후 3시 30분부터 5시 30분까지 제2회 “필리핀니즘(FILIPINISM)” 봉사데이를 진행한다. 필리핀니즘(FILIPINISM)은 필리핀 고유의 문화와 정체성을 널리 알리고, 필리핀 공동체의 자긍심과 연대감을 강화하기 위해 마련된 우리 협의회의 가장 큰 봉사의 날이다. 이번 행사는 지역사회와 함께 나눔과 봉사의 가치를 실천하며, 필리핀 음식 나눔, 전통놀이 체험, 필리핀 버스킹 공연 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 참가자들이 필리핀 문화를 직접 보고, 느끼고, 이해할 수 있도록 기획되었다. 또한 필리핀 사람들의 따뜻함과 다정함, 서로를 배려하는 긍정적인 공동체 문화를 지역사회에 알리는 데 목적이 있다.
이번 행사 역시 전북국제협력진흥원의 지원으로 진행되며, 전북국제협력진흥원 관계자는 “지역사회와 함께 어울리며 서로의 문화를 이해하고 존중하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되길 바란다”며 많은 관심과 참여를 당부했다.

Under the slogan of solidarity among Filipinos in Jeonbuk region, the Filipino organization “Jeonbuk Kabayan (Jeonbuk Filipino Association),” which officially registered and began its activities on February 15, 2025, will hold its 2nd “FILIPINISM” Volunteer Day on May 24 (Sunday) from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, following last year’s successful event.
FILIPINISM is one of the two big volunteer and cultural services organized by the association to promote the unique culture and identity of the Philippines while strengthening the pride and unity of the Filipino community. This event aims to practice the values of sharing and volunteerism together with the local community. Various programs such as Filipino food sharing, traditional games, and Filipino busking performances have been prepared so that participants can directly see, experience, and better understand Filipino culture. The event also seeks to introduce the positive character of Filipinos — their warmth, kindness, and caring spirit — to the local community.
This year’s event is once again supported by the Jeonbuk International Cooperation Agency. A representative from the agency stated, “We hope this will become a meaningful opportunity for the local community to come together, understand one another’s cultures, and build mutual respect,” while encouraging everyone’s interest and participation.
